Leader of the DDT Group and famous musician Yury Shevchuk put his signature for YABLOKO’s candidates to St.Petersburg Legislative Assembly.

“I am certain that the YABLOKO party has right to protect the rights of the citizens of Russia in St.Petersburg Legislative Assembly and the State Duma of Russia. They have brought nothing bad to the nation, only did only good things. I stood with these guys at the rally of the dissenting protesting against construction of Gazprom’s sky-scraper which would have disfigured the view of our city. If YABLOKO gets into parliament, then St.Petersburg city-dwellers can be certain that historical buildings will not be pulled down.”

Earlier film director Alexander Sokurov and writer Daniil Granin had expressed their support to YABLOKO.

St.Petersburg YABLOKO has been collecting signatures for registration of its list of candidates to the Legislative Assembly in the election campaign.

YABLOKO’s list fi candidates in St.Petersburg is topped by Dr.Grigory Yavlinsky, YABLOKO’s founder, ex Deputy Prime Minister of Russia and renowned economist.
